TRANSLATION & EDITING 
I have a collective of 12 years experience translating English - Malay language pair. I'm also a certified and registered member with the Malaysian Translation Association. 

Started offering translation and editing services since 2007 for individuals and agencies such as Translated (http://www.translated.net/en/), Wordsmith Group on regular documents and texts since 2014 including official documents like birth, marriage and other legal certificates especially for migration purposes. 

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
After holding a Bachelor Degree in TESL, I'm developing a Master thesis related to the English language and its significant influence on the success of the organisation and workforce in Malaysia.
 

MEDIA & JOURNALISM
Currently attached to Bernama News Channel (BNC) at MarComm unit focusing on branding activities, external communication and event organising. Prior to that, I developed skills as a bilingual journalist & advertorial writer since 2007 in the national news agency. Senior Executive, Media Relations, Coast Economic Region Development Council | 2015 
 Responsible for overseeing corporate communications to the media, including preparing articles, press kits, press releases, and other content initiatives. Being one of the corporate liaison officers for media representatives and stakeholders. 
 
MARKETING & COMMUNICATION
While currently attached to the Bernama News Channel at Marcomm Unit, I engage in sales and marketing activities on an ongoing basis. 
 Plan, create, manage and maintain all aspects of corporate and marketing communication to attain maximum public reach by creating to create a compelling communication material suitable to be published in different mediums i.e. social media, online, offline print.   
 
EVENT ORGANISING  
The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. | 2010 – 2012  
 1) Organising team for 2013 International Agent & Sponsors Conference, The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus.
2) Head of Usherette for the Official Opening of Sahz-Nottingham Nano Supercapacitor Pilot Plant officiated by Tun Mahathir Mohamad in Nottingham University Malaysia (11 Jan 2011)
3) Organizing team for the visit of British Member of Parliament Jeremy Brown
4) Organizing team for the royal visit of British Prince; Prince Andrew 
 
PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE
While having a high level of proficiency in the English language, I have gathered an extensive amount of experience in Journalism and in Public Relations. My wish is to excel in my career as well as to achieve personal goals and constantly bring myself to a level higher than the current state.
